above: Fred Mendiola, 2nd place Men’s Surfing. Joieto, the 1st place winner, was still in the water when the awards were presented. Typical.. In the background (no shirt) is Kenny Pier, Guam surfing legend, who at 55 yrs. of age placed 3rd in the men’s surfing to show us all that age is just a number.
And in the men’s bodyboarding division…from left to right
